| WELCOME BACK WEDNESDAY NIGHT LADIES TO THE NEW YEAR… 2012 SEASON… MAY EVERY ROCK COUNT!! | |

| League Information: | Participation in this league is open to All Female Teams. Age and skill is not important. We divide our skill level into an “A” and “B” Division. The start of the season will be with a Round Robin play then split into Division play in the New Year or sooner. Juniors are welcome to play as well as our seniors. If you wish to spare, we would be happy to have you join us. Please contact Tracy so that she can add you to the spare list. The club will be have a Club Playdown for top Male & Female & Mixed teams that will play at Richmond Club in April to represent the GEWC, as well as a club champion this year. |

Well it is the last few weeks of curling for the club. We have finished with our League play and I am proud to say that the 2 division winners are Team Fister for the “A” division and Team Bouthot for the “B” division. Well done ladies.Also I would like to congratulate Team Fister in obtaining the position of GEWC Ladies respresentatives who will go on to play in Richmond for the regional club playdowns. Good luck to your team.
We have had a game of skins this year and it all seemed to go over very well. We played for money and there were surpises out there for who won… not an ordinary game at all. The next week will be a short game ending with skills… the final week will be another short game and our wind up party. Thank you to everyone for supporting our Ladies Night League. We have been able to support our Juniors, a family at Christmas and supported a sweater from a past curler from our club. I will be handing out a survey next week to see what we could add to our curling night, what play layout we could do, who else I could try to recrute to play in our league, what other activities we could be involved in. If anyone feels that they would like to share the coordinators position with me, I would be happy to have the help. Thanks you again for a great year!
