Doubles and Mixed Doubles Curling

Mixed Doubles Championships have been taking place for a few years at the international level. The format is an interesing  one. The World Curling Federation rules can be found here.

Since this format for doubles curling has little play at the local level, the Golden Ears Winter Club would like to introduce the doubles game, with and without the gender requirements. 

Four sessions of doubles curling are offered:
Saturday October 3rd, 10th, 24th, and 31st. from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. An 8-end game with only two players per team will take 80-90 minutes leaving some time for discussion about the format and exactly how we might like to modify  it to suit our players’ needs.
